The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary · New Cairo

A nervous systemregulation club.

The Sanctuary is a wellness and recovery club in New Cairo. Under one roof: a hot yoga studio, a functional training gym, a sauna and ice bath, an osteopathy clinic, a kettlebell club and a kitchen. You book a class, you come in, and you leave more settled than you arrived.

01 — What is here

Five zones. Each built for one thing.

Rather than one big gym floor, The Sanctuary is a set of zones, and every class belongs to one of them. Pick the zone that matches what your body needs today.

  1. Cork mats with sheepskin cushions in a white studio with arched alcoves and bamboo
    01

    The Studio

Hot yoga, yoga and mat pilates. Up to ten people.

The heated classes use warmth to soften the body and slow the breath. The unheated ones build mobility, balance and control. New to yoga? Body Ease and Ease Into Hot Yoga are the place to start.

    • Yoga
    • Mat Pilates
    • Breathwork workshops

  2. An outdoor steel training rig with rings and a climbing rope under a reed canopy
    02

    Jungle Gym

Coached functional training. Eight people at most.

Strength for the life you actually live — lifting, carrying, getting up off the floor. Forty-five minutes, small group, a coach watching, so you are never left guessing.

    • Functional Strength
    • Movement Prep
    • Active Recovery & Move
    Inside Jungle Gym
  3. A domed charcoal sauna house with its glass door open onto warm timber benches
    03

    Restoration

Sauna and ice bath, guided. Up to six people.

Contrast therapy: time in the heat, a controlled plunge into cold water, then rest. Every session is guided, so your first plunge is something you are walked through, not dared into.

  4. A treatment table and stool beside glass doors looking out to palms and the pool
    04

    The Clinic

    One-to-one osteopathy.

Hands-on treatment for pain, stiffness and the way you hold yourself. An hour, one practitioner, one person.

    • Osteopathy session
    Inside The Clinic
  5. Rows of kettlebells on a rubber floor under a reed pergola and black steel rig
    05

    The Cove

Kettlebell Club. The biggest zone — up to twenty.

One tool, done properly. Forty-five minutes built on the kettlebell — full body or core — with the energy that only comes from training alongside other people.

02 — What it is for

Most of usare never off.

Phones, traffic, deadlines, the next message. The body treats a great deal of modern life as a low-grade emergency, and it rarely gets the signal that the emergency is over. Over time that shows up as poor sleep, a short fuse, tight shoulders, a mind that will not switch off.

The Sanctuary is built for the people that describes — high performers, entrepreneurs, and anyone navigating stress, burnout and overstimulation. Everything here is arranged to give the body that signal, on purpose, and often enough that it learns it.

“This is not escapism. This is nervous system training for modern life.”
  • Move

Training that builds strength and range, so the body is capable rather than braced.

The Studio · Jungle Gym · The Cove

  • Recover

Heat, cold and rest, used deliberately to bring the body down from high alert.

    Restoration

  • Repair

Skilled hands for what training alone will not fix.

    The Clinic

  • Nourish

Food that finishes the work instead of undoing it.
